WASHINGTON/SARAJEVO, July 17 (FENA) - The US President Donald Trump has extended sanctions against those responsible in Bosnia and Herzegovina for obstructing the implementation of the Dayton Peace Agreement.
President Trump extended the so-called "national state of emergency" in relation to the countries of the Western Balkans, and that decision was made back in the time of President George W. Bush in 2001.
“Therefore, I am extending the duration of the national state of emergency regarding the Western Balkans for another year,” it is stated in the decision signed by Trump.
The US President thus extended the duration of the "black list" for the Western Balkans. The list also includes the BiH Presidency member Milorad Dodik, war criminals such as Radovan Karadžić, Momčilo Krajišnik, Vojislav Šešelj and Biljana Plavšić, Karadžić's daughter Sonja Karadžić-Jovičević, Bakir Alispahić, and Hasan Čengić.
