SARAJEVO, July 15 (FENA) - Activities in the process of exhumation and search for missing persons have once again begun at the Tomašica site near Prijedor and will continue in the coming days.
This is a location on a very inaccessible terrain (Tomašica, Grubinac stream), where preparatory works with the use of machinery will be needed, the Prosecutor's Office of BiH announced.
An investigator from the Special Department for War Crimes of the Prosecutor's Office of BiH is at that location, where he coordinates the activities of authorized persons at the location where the preparations for the process of exhumation and search for missing persons have begun.
“We have information that the remains of Bosniak victims, killed in the area of Prijedor in 1992, had been buried at the mentioned site,” the Prosecutor's Office of BiH said.
There are representatives of the Institute for Missing Persons (INO) of BiH, a forensic doctor, members of the RS Prijedor MoI, who are securing the location, as well as the necessary mechanization to prepare access to the location.
