TRAVNIK, July 14 (FENA) - Croatian Ambassador to BiH Ivan Sabolić visited Travnik today and met with members of the Central Bosnia Canton Government. They discussed possibilities of economic cooperation and business environment, as well as consequences of coronavirus pandemic.

Ambassador Sabolić told reporters in Travnik that the Republic of Croatia is interested in the Central Bosnia Canton, recalling numerous projects and cooperation in many areas.

“We want to underline this economic cooperation, and two years ago Croatia opened a consulate in Vitez with the aim of enhancing the cooperation,” he said.

Asked by journalists about the measures by which citizens of third countries, those who are not citizens of the European Union (EU), need a negative test for coronavirus to enter Croatia, Sabolić replied that there are exceptions to such a decision by the Republic of Croatia.

“There are many exceptions provided by the Republic of Croatia and the decision shows that this is not as it might seem at first sight. Exceptions, rules and instructions should be read carefully,” he stressed.

Commenting on this measure, which also applies to BiH citizens, except for those who have a Croatian passport, the Minister of Economy of the Central Bosnia Canton Nisvet Hrnjić assessed that it is satisfactory, considering that it does not stop entrepreneurship.
