SARAJEVO, July 13 (FENA) - After the collective funeral and burial of the remains of nine victims and the commemoration of the 25th anniversary of the Srebrenica genocide on July 11, a re-exhumation began this morning at the Srebrenica-Potočari Memorial Center to re-associate the mortal remains of the victims that were subsequently found.

A spokeswoman for the BiH Institute for Missing Persons, Emza Fazlić, told FENA that the re-exhumation, with the permission and presence of the victims' families, would take place throughout the week. To be precise, 68 graves will be reopened for re-association of the remains.

She reminded that the re-exhumations had been performed in the past period, of which there were 636 so far.

Collective, i.e., large re-exhumations were performed on eight occasions in which a large number of graves had been reopened, while in 11 cases individual re-exhumations were performed.
