SARAJEVO, July 10 (FENA) - President of the Party of Democratic Action (SDA) Bakir Izetbegović hopes that the political party agreements on appointments in state agencies and institutions will be reached by next Wednesday.
He says that some things have already been agreed, and he believes that further steps can be made.
“On Wednesday, we would have the adopted state budget, which will enable the holding of local elections this year and the appointment of Selmo Cikotić as the Minister of Security of BiH,” said Izetbegović.
The appointment of Cikotić should be followed by the appointment of heads of other institutions at the state level.
In this regard, he underlined, that the Croat Democratic Union (HDZ) BiH wants for itself even what is above the law and the Constitution.
“The HDZ BiH has decided that we will not have the Government of the Federation of BiH and that we do not have a complete Constitutional Court. We do not condition anything,” Izetbegović told reporters in Sarajevo today, commenting on the current processes in the country.
