BiH Armed Forces engaged with their resources in the Srebrenica area

SREBRENICA, July 9 (FENA) - The Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina are engaged in the Srebrenica area from July 8 to 11 in accordance with the applicable rules and procedures, supporting the activities of the competent institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Organizing Committee for the marking of the 25th anniversary of the genocide against Bosniaks in the "UN Safe Zone of Srebrenica".

Tasks that require special efforts were preceded by timely preparations of military personnel and logistical resources (MTS) at home deployment locations.

The planned reconnaissance of the terrain defined the obligations for all temporary organizational units, which included providing accommodation for the participants of the march, their own accommodation and insurance of units and MTS, announced the Ministry of Defense of BiH.

The tasks began with the establishment of a place of accommodation for the participants of the march at the location of Crni vrh, as well as for the participants of the peace march at the location of Liplje (Zvornik municipality), Pobuđe Mravinci (Bratunac municipality) and Potočari (Srebrenica municipality).

Also, on the day of the funeral, members of the AF BiH will assist in laying flowers at the "Potočari Memorial Center".

During the implementation of activities, the BiH Armed Forces are implementing the prescribed measures and procedures to prevent the spread of the coronavirus epidemic.
