Sarajevo Youth Film Festival to offer drive-in cinema this year

SARAJEVO, July 7 (FENA) - The Sarajevo Youth Film Festival, which will be held from July 24 to 29, will be screened within open air cinemas in the Sarajevo Municipality of Centar.

Considering that the Drive-In cinema, which was held recently, attracted great interest, the organizers decided to show films for all those who like to watch from the comfort of their cars as part of the Sarajevo Youth Film Festival, and this time it will be held at the same location – the parking lot in Kotromanića Street, at Marijin Dvor.

In addition to drive-in cinema, Sarajevo Youth Film Festival will also present the Addiko Open Air Cinema, which brings great atmosphere of watching movies in sitting bags and deck chairs, and the location will be known over the coming weekend, festival organizers said.

The twelfth edition of the Sarajevo Youth Film Festival will show more than 35 films from 12 countries, of which ten are world and 15 regional premieres.

The British film 'County Lines' will open the Festival on Friday, July 24, with a screening as part of the opening ceremony at the Sarajevo Youth Theater, and as part of the Addiko Open Air Cinema. The same night, the 'Big Five' program will be opened with screening of the American film 'Green Book', said director of Sarajevo Youth Film Festival Kenan Musić.
