BANJA LUKA, July 2 (FENA) - The RS Council of Peoples today rejected the veto of the Bosniak caucus on the conclusions of the RS National Assembly which reject, among other things, the Resolution on Respect for the Victims of Fascist Regimes and Movements, passed by the House of Representatives of the BiH Parliamentary Assembly on 20 May this year.
The Vice-Chairman of the Council of Peoples from the Bosniak people, Mihnet Okić, confirmed to FENA that this issue will be the subject of harmonization at a joint session of the Council of Peoples and the National Assembly of RS.
The opposition, Serb political parties and Bosniak MPs from the "Together for BiH" coalition did not attend the parliamentary vote on the conclusions proposed by the caucuses of SNSD, DNS, DEMOS, NDP, US, SPS, SP and the parliamentary group of independent deputies.
If there is no agreement on the Bosniak veto at the Joint Committee, the final decision will be rendered by the RS Constitutional Court.
