Catering facilities, shopping malls and shops violate epidemiological measures

FENA Muhamed Hadžibegić

SARAJEVO, June 30 (FENA) - Director of the FBiH Inspectorate Administration (FUZIP) Anis Ajdinović told FENA that due to the deteriorating epidemiological situation in the Federation of BiH during the last month, the inspection has unfortunately switched from a preventive and corrective model to a repressive one.

He said that mostly catering facilities, shopping malls and shops violated epidemiological measures - not wearing masks, not keeping physical distance and not using disinfectants for customers and clients.

He explained that, based on the current facts, the inspectors will assess whether they will submit a report to the competent prosecutor's offices if there is a suspicion of committing a criminal offense.

Ajdinović stated that FUZIP, in cooperation with the cantonal inspectorate administrations, continuously performs intensified inspection activities regarding the fight against coronavirus and protection of the population.

“This means that we have been present on the field with all available capacities, even in the late hours of the night in catering facilities,” said Ajdinović.
