SARAJEVO, June 29 (FENA) - According to today's report by the Public Health Institute of the Sarajevo Canton, 44 new cases of coronavirus infection in SC have been confirmed in the past 24 hours.
Out of 298 samples tested, 44 were positive for coronavirus.
Twenty-one people are hospitalized in the Isolation Ward of the Clinical Center of the University of Sarajevo, all of them are vitally stable and none of them is on a ventilator, while five of them were discharged in the same period.
Since the beginning of the epidemic in the Sarajevo Canton, 12.341 people have been tested for coronavirus.
To date, 391 patients have been confirmed, of which 116 have been cured, six patients have died from this disease, four have been relocated from BiH, while 265 are currently active cases of COVID infection.
