BANJA LUKA, June 28 (FENA) – In the past 24 hours, 280 laboratory samples were tested in Republika Srpska, and coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2) was confirmed in 40 people, while two deaths were reported, it was announced from the RS Institute of Public Health.
According to the place of residence, 14 people are from Ljubinje, 13 from Bileća, three from Laktaši, two from Prijedor and Mrkonjić Grad and one each from Banja Luka, Kozarska Dubica, Trebinje, Istočna Ilidža, Novi Grad and Teslić.
“Most of the newly infected are workers of a fish processing factory near Stolac in the Federation of BiH,” it is stated in the announcement from the Institute.
In the last 24 hours, two deaths were reported to the Institute of Public Health of the Republic of Srpska, with confirmed coronavirus infection. They are two men, middle-aged and older from Teslić and Prijedor, with associated diseases.
So far, 2.201 cases of coronavirus have been confirmed in that BiH entity, and 124 people have died in whom the Covid-19 test has been confirmed.
To date, 1.315 people have recovered and 36.374 were tested.
The total number of hospitalized is 131, of which 46 at the University Clinical Center RS, and 85 in general hospitals.
