SARAJEVO, June 26 (FENA) - An extraordinary session of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina has been announced for today, and the agenda of the session will include determining the Draft Law on the Budget of Institutions and International Obligations of Bosnia and Herzegovina for 2020.
At its session held on June 18, the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina determined the Draft Budget of BiH Institutions and International Obligations for 2020, which it submitted to the Presidency of BiH.
Minister of Finance and Treasury of BiH, Vjekoslav Bevanda (HDZBiH), explained then that the ministry determined the budget for the second time, but also that the budget framework was as it was planned, with savings made wherever possible.
“The budget framework was kept as it was, savings were made in all possible positions, only security agencies were excluded,” Bevanda explained.
He also confirmed that salaries, i.e. the budget base for salaries has not been increased, but it is a matter of adopting a law that treats salaries of soldiers in the Armed Forces of BiH, and there is full application of the Law on Police Officers and increased meal allowance for 2 KM.
