SARAJEVO, June 24 (FENA) - Raisu-l-ulema of the Islamic Community in BiH Hussein ef. Kavazovic sent a letter to the King of Saudi Arabia, Selman bin Abdulaziz al Saud, in which he expressed the understanding of the Islamic Community in BiH for the decision to organize the Hajj this year with a smaller number of representatives of different nationalities already in Saudi Arabia due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Raisu-l-ulema, referring to the principles of Islamic teaching, expressed support for the efforts of the Saudi government and King Selman himself to preserve the continuity of Hajj rites, but to put people's lives first.
He ended his letter to the king of the reis-l-ulema with a prayer for health and passing the temptation of the disease that burdens the world, reports Mina.
