SARAJEVO, June 22 (FENA) - Minister of Communications and Transport of Bosnia and Herzegovina Vojin Mitrović met today in Sarajevo with Ambassador of the People's Republic of China to Bosnia and Herzegovina Ji Ping.
The main topic of discussion was cooperation between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the People's Republic of China in the field of infrastructure, communications and air connections, but also the improvement of relations between the two countries and the arrival of Chinese companies on the BiH market.
They discussed the 17 + 1 Conference, which was supposed to be held in Sarajevo, but was postponed due to the pandemic, as well as signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between the People's Republic of China and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Ambassador Ji pointed out that Chinese companies are currently working on the construction of Corridor Vc and expressed his desire to continue participating in projects for construction of highways and airports in BiH, as well as those in the field of communications.
The Minister and the Ambassador expressed satisfaction with the current cooperation between the two countries and pointed out their expectations that it will continue in the coming period, especially when it comes to the areas of transport infrastructure and communications, the Ministry of Communications and Transport of BiH announced.
