MOSTAR, June 22 (FENA) - HDZ BiH President Dragan Čović said today that the party would not support Selmo Cikotić as BiH Minister of Security.
"We have not been partners with the SDA for some time. We agreed on Mostar and some other things last week, but at the level of the Federation of BiH we have not had a program or strategic partnership for two years that we can agree on. One of these issues is now the position of Minister of Security, which means that Cikotić is a proposal of the SDA and it is their right, such as the right of our veterans from Bugojno and veterans from BiH in general from the HVO not to accept the candidate,” said Čović, answering a journalist's question whether the HDZ BiH would support Cikotić as security minister.
He stated that the representatives of HDZ and HNS in the House of Representatives of the BiH Parliament will certainly not support that candidate.
