Dodik: BiH should identify and then deport migrants, who became serious problem

BANJA LUKA, June 21 (FENA) - President of the Alliance of Independent Social Democrats (SNSD) Milorad Dodik said today that migrants have become a serious problem and urged the government of that BiH entity to make a plan of activities and measures necessary to respond to the growing presence of migrants in the RS.

“We are asking for complete elimination of migrants in our area and for complete security of our people,” said Dodik at the press conference after the session of the SNSD Executive Committee.

RS, as he added, will not allow any centers for migrants in its area, he reminded that recently in the vicinity of Laktaši, migrants pulled weapons on members of the police.

Dodik says that "fear that people have from migrants must be eliminated immediately".

“The only, necessary and fast measure is for BiH, together with the entities, to provide all the logistics so that all migrants are identified and deported without hesitation. This will bring security among all people in BiH. It is unacceptable that some institutions from the West are urging that the problem of migrants be spread throughout BiH. We refuse that and we will not participate in it,” he added.

The SNSD Executive Committee obliged the Chairman of the BiH Council of Ministers to propose a decision on the financing of local elections in BiH at the first session, in order to eliminate any reasons for possible malversations related to their holding.

It was also announced that RS institutions will provide one million KM for the Serb community in the Federation of BiH, where, as they claim, "discrimination against the Serb people is in force," because they avoid Serbs in development projects, thus trying to influence new displacement”.

When it comes to the agreement between HDZ and SDA regarding the holding of elections in Mostar, the SNSD is dissatisfied, because Serb representatives were excluded and the national structure from 1991 was not respected, which, he says, the SDA insisted on.

“The percentage of our participation as a constituent people has decreased. When we get acquainted with other changes to the Statute of Mostar, we will decide about our position on amendments to the Election Law, which should enable elections in Mostar,” he added.

The SNSD called on the citizens to strictly adhere to the measures for the suppression of the coronavirus, which, as he says, is still present and it is possible to expand certain protection measures.

Dodik said that it is not fair and just for BiH's borders to be open to Croatian citizens, and for Croatia to ban BiH citizens from going to or passing through Croatia.

Due to the consequences caused by the coronavirus, he announced that 30 million KM would be allocated to help the budgets of local communities in RS.
