BANJA LUKA, June 21 (FENA) - In the past 24 hours, 278 laboratory samples were tested in Republika Srpska, and coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2) was confirmed in 35 people, RS Institute of Public Health announced.
According to the place of residence, nine people are from Mrkonjić Grad, five from Prijedor, four from Srbac, three each from Doboj and Gradiška, two each from Čelinac, Bratunac and Pale and one each from Laktaši, Banja Luka, Petrov, Zvornik and Rogatica.
The largest number of new cases are contacts of positive people at the sites of local virus transmission and family contacts, the Institute stated.
To date, 1.845 cases of coronavirus have been confirmed in that BiH entity, and 119 people have died of coronavirus-related causes.
So far, 1.250 people have recovered and 33.870 were tested.
