ZENICA, June 17 (FENA) - The Ministry of Health of the Zenica-Doboj Canton has decided to make the Tešanj General Hospital (OBT) officially the second COVID hospital in that canton yesterday, confirmed to FENA the director of the Tešanj Hospital, Hasan Škiljo.
He noted that the hospital there will take care of asymptomatic and patients with milder symptoms at its Covid-19 ward, while more severe cases of coronavirus infection from that area will continue to be treated at the Department of Infectious Diseases of the Zenica Cantonal Hospital (KBZ).
“We got the decision yesterday and we immediately admitted the first patient, and today there will be several more positive patients who are currently at home,” said the hospital director.
Doctors at the local hospital, in preparation for a "cesarean section" delivery, found that a pregnant woman was positive for Covid-19.
