Coronavirus confirmed in 22 more people in RS, one person died

BANJA LUKA, June 12 (FENA) – Coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2) has been confirmed in 22 more people in Republika Srpska, after testing 223 samples, while one person has passed away, the RS Institute of Public Health announced today.

When it comes to newly infected 12 are females and 10 males.

According to the place of residence, five people are from Zvornik, four from Kostajnica, three from Teslić, two each from Banja Luka, Čelinac and Ugljevik, and one each from Vukosavlje, Prijedor and Trebinje and Foča.

In the last 24 hours, one death was reported to the RS Institute of Public Health. An elderly woman from Doboj, with chronic associated diseases, has passed away.

So far, 1.607 cases of coronavirus have been confirmed in RS, and a total of 118 people have died in whom presence of coronavirus has been confirmed.

A total of 1.123 people have recovered so far and 31.473 were tested.

The total number of hospitalized is 70, 30 at the University Clinical Center and 40 in general hospitals.
