Remains of at least two victims of Srebrenica genocide exhumed in Bratunac area

SARAJEVO, June 10 (FENA) - In the area of Kameničko brdo, municipality of Bratunac, an exhumation was carried out today, during which incomplete remains of at least two victims of the past war were found on the site.

According to the information from the Institute for Missing Persons of BiH, it is presumed that the remains belong to the victims of genocide committed in July 1995, in the area of Srebrenica.

The remains of the victims exhumed today were transferred to the Commemorative Center in Tuzla for forensic processing, as well as DNA analysis, in order to determine the identity of the victims.

The exhumation and clearing of the terrain was carried out on the order of the Court of BiH and under the supervision of the Prosecutor's Office of BiH, stated the Institute for Missing Persons of BiH.
