Radončić confirms that Gordana Tadić received death threats

FENA Press release

SARAJEVO, June 1 (FENA) - Chief Prosecutor of the Prosecutor's Office of BiH Gordana Tadić and her family have received death threats, BiH Security Minister Fahrudin Radončić said today.

In a statement to the press, Radončić said that "it is the reason why he is nervous today".

He stated that last night he immediately called Director for Coordination of Police Bodies, Mirsad Vilić, and asked him to strengthen the protection of prosecutor Tadić and her family. He also asked for information from the director of the Intelligence and Security Agency (OSA) and he hopes to receive it today.

He stressed that the call of politicians for the lynching of any person from the judiciary is something he completely rejects.

Minister Radončić said that "we cannot live in a country where you can completely unsanctioned threats to the chief prosecutor, and this was done to the judges in the first and second proceedings of my case."

Speaking about the prosecution of Prime Minister Fadil Novalić and others in the "Ventilators" affair, Radončić said that the defense and the prosecution are two equal parties before the court and that should not be commented on.
