BANJA LUKA, May 31 (FENA) - It is high time that judicial institutions in BiH start doing their job efficiently and show that they are not just a mere instrument of political bribery, said President of the Party of Democratic Progress (PDP) Branislav Borenović.
He points out that a number of scandals must be prosecuted rather than publicly analyzed.
“Ventilator scandals, field hospital, procurement of masks are just some of the many very probable abuses and crimes in the last few months, but also years. In addition to all that, a political affair of wiretapping has been imposed, and the last thing the judiciary should do is to publicly analyze whether someone was joking about illegal wiretapping. That is outrageous,” Borenović emphasized to the journalists in Banja Luka.
According to him, the prosecutor's offices in this country should react as quickly as possible to the reports, although numerous, at least suspicious actions committed during the coronavirus period are coming to light day by day.
Borenović also referred to the upcoming special session of the National Assembly of the RS, which was scheduled due to the Resolution on respecting the victims of fascist regimes and movements.
“It is unbelievable that, regardless of who represents the RS and Serb people, they vote against the condemnation of the so-called Bleiburg Mass and condemnation of the crimes of the Ustasha regime, as the SNSD did. It is now clear how far national short-sightedness and humility go to the 'strategic partner' of HDZ BiH who fiercely defended the Mass for those who fled from justice as members of the regime that committed the most monstrous and unprecedented crimes against our people,” claims Borenović.
