SARAJEVO, May 29 (FENA) - Chairman of the Council of Ministers Zoran Tegeltija held a video meeting today with representatives of international financial institutions in BiH.
Resident Representative of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) in Bosnia and Herzegovina Andrew Jewell, Head of the World Bank Office in BiH Emanuel Salinas, Head of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development Office (EBRD) Office in BiH Manuela Naessl, Head of the European Investment Bank (EIB) Office in BiH Sandrine Friscia and International Finance Corporation representative Lada Buševac attended the meeting and discussed the current economic situation in BiH, as well as the possibilities of cooperation between institutions in BiH and international financial institutions in the socio-economic response to the crisis caused by the coronavirus epidemic.
Tegeltija thanked the representatives of international financial institutions for the quick response to BiH's requests for financial support and expressed regret over the impossibility of using the funds allocated to BiH, emphasizing that the Council of Ministers has completed all obligations regarding the disposal of funds withdrawn from the IMF.
On this occasion, the interlocutors also talked about the so-called "postcovid" response, and Chairman Tegeltija informed the participants of the meeting that the first session of the Socio-Economic Response Group will be held next week, whose task is to create coordinated and harmonized measures and reforms for a quick recovery from the crisis.
