SARAJEVO, May 29 (FENA) - Deputy Chairperson of the Council of Ministers and Minister of Foreign Affairs Bisera Turković met yesterday in Zagreb with Croatian Minister of Foreign and European Affairs Gordan Grlić Radman and discussed the current events related to deforestation in the Una-Sana Canton.
Radman reiterated the official views that Croatia does not endanger the territorial integrity of Bosnia and Herzegovina and that the activities on deforestation in the area of the Plješevica mountain take place exclusively on Croatian territory.
Minister Turković suggested that in order to resolve this issue, the official commissions for borders should be sent to the field, so an agreement was reached to organize it as soon as possible so that this misunderstanding would be resolved to the mutual satisfaction of the interested parties.
Also, she thanked Croatian Minister for the significant humanitarian aid that Croatia and its citizens recently donated to BiH to fight the coronavirus pandemic.
The ministers also used the opportunity to discuss the topic of Trgovska gora, which is mentioned as one of the possible locations for the disposal of nuclear and radioactive waste, Press Service of the BiH MoFA announced.
