Tegeltija: CBBH has everything it needs to disburse IMF funds

FENA Muamer Selimbegovic

SARAJEVO, May 28 (FENA) - Chairman of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina Zoran Tegeltija said today that he could not specify how long the funds of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) will be in the account of the Central Bank of BiH (CBBH).

Commenting on the press inquiry regarding their distribution, the Chairman of the Council of Ministers reminded that these are no longer IMF funds, but the governments' of FBiH, RS and Brčko District of BiH.

He added that interest is already flowing on these funds, and that they are in the account of the Central Bank of BiH and that he could not answer the question how long it will be like that.

“I have repeated several times the position that the Central Bank has everything it needs to disburse funds, because the Memorandum was signed with those to whom the funds are to be disbursed,” he specified.

Tegeltija said that it is obvious "that the governor of the Central Bank of BiH does not agree with that position, that he has support and does not want to disburse the funds".

“It would be the same as when you receive money from someone, and the bank does not pay you your money. Think about how you would behave,” said the Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BiH.
