SARAJEVO, May 28 (FENA) - The American Chamber of Commerce in BiH (AmCham BiH) addressed the Delegation of the European Union in BiH, the House of Representatives, Parties and Coalitions represented in the Parliament BiH, the House of Peoples of the BiH Parliament, the Government of the Federation of BiH and the FBiH Securities Commission to resolve the stalemate in the work of the Commission, which lasts six months.
"Namely, the delay in the work of the Commission for six months stopped all capital investments in FBiH, which makes it impossible for economic entities that have submitted requests for the Commission to act within its statutory competence, to realize investments that cause multimillion damage, and prevents capital strengthening of companies operate in the Federation of BiH," AmCham BiH said in a statement.
They also stated that it is important to emphasize that the Commission has not performed its primary and legally defined function for six months, which is the protection of investors and the supervision of markets and market participants, as well as the supervision of the issue and trading of securities.
