Višković: Home isolation measure when entering RS to be abolished as of tomorrow

BANJA LUKA, May 20 (FENA) - The measure of home isolation of 14 days, for all citizens who enter the Republika Srpska, will be abolished as of tomorrow, emergency situations crisis staff in RS concluded today.

"Tomorrow at 06.00 AM, the inspectors will be withdrawn from the border crossings, where they will no longer issue decisions on home isolation," said RS Prime Minister Radovan Višković.

He said that he will ask from RS that the enter in BiH is allowed the same way as it was decided in Serbia.

"At the session of the Crisis Staff, it was decided to address the Council of Ministers of BiH and ask that the entry of citizens into BiH be the same as in Serbia, which will adopt this decision tomorrow at the session of its Government and will be applied as of Friday, and that is to enter the country without testing and home isolation," said Višković in his address at the session of the National Assembly.

He emphasized that RS has reached a percentage below five percent of those infected with coronavirus in the past seven days.

"If a focus of disease or a greater number of infected people appear like in Serbia in Vranje or some other place, we will have to act locally and to put it under control,” Višković pointed out.

He said that RS has carried out 23.000 tests for coronavirus so far, and the Federation of BiH has carried out 31.000, and that the number of tested samples is not doubled in the Federation of BiH as the opposition claims.
