SARAJEVO, May 18 (FENA) - Chief Prosecutor of the Prosecutor's Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina Gordana Tadić participated in a meeting of chief prosecutors from the state level, both entities and the Brčko District of BiH, as well as police agency officials within the Strategic Forum, via video conference within the project of the HJPC BiH.
The officials discussed functioning of the prosecutorial community in BiH, which has about 380 prosecutors at all levels, and work with partner police agencies, within the situation caused by the Covid 19 virus pandemic, the Prosecutor's Office of BiH said.
One of the conclusions of the meeting is - that prosecutorial and police institutions acted responsibly and professionally in protecting citizens, ensuring compliance with health and safety measures, as well as prosecuting illegalities and crimes committed during the pandemic situation.
The participants of the meeting discussed the measures taken to ensure that the prosecutor's offices in our country, together with the police, are operational in emergencies and short deadlines, and also discussed the activities being carried out to restore the functioning of the prosecutorial and police community in their regular capacity, and in line with the development of the pandemic situation, it is said in a statement.
