Komšić commends citizens of Sarajevo for their dignified response

FENA Press release

SARAJEVO, May 17 (FENA) - Member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Željko Komšić congratulated the citizens of Sarajevo on their dignified expression of discontent with the holding a holy mass in memory of the Ustasha criminals.

"I am happy about the fact that the enemies of this city have not outsmarted us. I called for caution, but it is already evident that the citizens of this city, due to a lifetime of experiencing trickery and imputing, have become experienced fighters for their own freedom and the freedom of all citizens.

At the same time, the city of Sarajevo and its people have shown that they do not tolerate fascism and look at it with disgust, as well as that they do not forbid anyone to promote any beliefs within religious buildings that the promoters consider appropriate.

Sarajevans and this city have once again drawn a line of distinct differentiation between civilization and anti-civilization.

Those who found themselves on the side of anti-civilization remained ashamed in the face of the world, and Sarajevo and its citizens stand strong as the pride of the civilized world," underlined Komšić.
