Novalić and Višković agree on unblocking of the operations of TRANSCO BIH

DOBOJ, May 15 (FENA) - Prime Ministers of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the entity of Republika Srpska, Fadil Novalić and Radovan Višković, agreed today to unblock the operation of the public company "Elektroprenos BiH" ( TRANSCO BiH), as well as the plan for investing in that company in the coming period.

The meeting in Doboj was also attended by General Manager of TRANSCO BiH, Mate Žarić.

"In the next 15 days, the joint electricity transmission company: the Assembly of Shareholders, the Management and Supervisory Board, will carry out the necessary procedures for verification of today's agreement and enable its functioning, as well as the implementation of important investment projects, stated the RS government. 

The entity prime ministers assessed that the functioning of the TRANSCO BiH is of crucial importance for the maintenance of the electricity network in BiH, especially having in mind the necessary investments planned in this sector, which have not been realized for more than two years.
