SARAJEVO, May 15 (FENA) - In the last 24 hours, 873 samples were tested in the Federation of BiH, six of which were positive for coronavirus. These were patients from Zenica-Doboj, Una-Sana and Sarajevo Canton, stated today a member of the Crisis Staff of the FBiH Ministry of Health and Head of the Epidemiology Service of the FBiH Public Health Institute, Sanjin Musa in a regular address for the media during the coronavirus pandemic.

He pointed out that so far a total of 26,191 samples have been tested in FBiH, and that COVID-19 has been confirmed in 999 persons.

Musa reminded that, at the moment, there are 29 patients hospitalized in the FBiH, none of whom are on a ventilator.

Musa also pointed out the obligation of employers to persist in preventive measures in the work environment, all with the aim of reducing the risk of new cases of infection.

He said, at the same time, that the priority is the protection of the most vulnerable groups - the elderly over 65 and people suffering from chronic diseases.

Answering a journalist's question regarding the possible abolition of the measure of obligatory self-isolation with the option of testing, Musa reminded that in the FBiH the measure of health supervision/restriction of movement/self-isolation for the period of 14 days is still in force, stating that the issue will be considered in the coming period.
