SARAJEVO, May 14 (FENA) - The Finance and Budget Committee of the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiHPA) adopted the parliamentary initiative of Šemsudin Mehmedović at the 8th session.
The initiative reads: "Pursuant to Article 8 of the Rules of Procedure of the House of Representatives, I submit an initiative requesting an amendment to the decision of the Joint Committee on Administrative Affairs in the sense that the deputies, while the work of the House of Representatives is blocked, be suspended of salary payments for each month in which at least one session of the House is not held, as well as all deputies who do not attend at least one session in the current month".
At the same time, with this initiative, Mehmedović encourages the Council of Ministers of BiH to send amendments to the Law on Salaries and Remunerations in BiH Institutions to the parliamentary procedure, which would precisely define this area in such cases.
