SARAJEVO, May 13 (FENA) - The FBiH Minister of Health Vjekoslav Mandić appealed to the citizens that the mitigation of the measures that have taken place should not be understood as an end to the coronavirus pandemic.

At a regular address of the representatives of the FBiH institutions, Mandić said that the epidemiological situation is favorable, because the number of newly infected is small, while the number of recovered is increasing.

"We have learned to live with this virus and accept it as if it were something normal. Life is returning to normal, because transportation and catering facilities are starting to operate again," Mandić emphasized.

However, he pointed out that citizens will continue to live in conditions of constant threat because the virus is still present.

"We must not get carried away and we must not relax, because it can come back to us many times over," he said, adding that citizens must still adhere to the measures, such as general distancing measures and regular hand washing and keeping the hygene.

He thanked the citizens for their patience and discipline, saying that this is the only way to get out of this situation.
