TUZLA, May 11 (FENA) - After there was no registered case of coronavirus infection for the last 30 days in the Tuzla Canton, yesterday the presence of the virus was confirmed in one person from Gradačac.

The Minister of Health, Dajana Čolić, stated that this was a so-called imported case and that now the number of those infected has increased to 85 since the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic.

In the past 24 hours, 41 people were tested for SARS-CoV-2 virus at the Department of Microbiology of the University Clinical Center Tuzla, and only one test came back as positive for this infection, and it is related to the mentioned person from Gradačac.

The Crisis Staff of the Ministry of Health of the Tuzla Canton announced that 82 people infected with the coronavirus recovered, two died, so that only the latest case from Gradačac is active.

Eight clusters have been recorded in the TC area since the beginning of the coronavirus pandemic, and all of them have been closed. It is currently being investigated who the person from Gradačac was in contact and whether this could potentially lead to creating a new cluster of those infected with Covid-19.
