Eleven migrants rescued on Plješevica Mountain

BIHAĆ, May 11 (FENA) - Members of the Bihać Mountain Rescue Service (MRS) station successfully carried out an action to rescue migrants who fell into a pit in the area of Plješevica Mountain while hiding from the border police.

Namely, last night, May 10, at 8:20 PM, the Bihać MRS station received a call from the police that an unknown number of migrants in the area of Plješevica Mountain, while hiding from the border police, fell into a pit. Immediately after receiving the call, 13 members of the Bihać MRS station successfully carried out the rescue operation, the FBiH MRS announced.

Twelve migrants were hiding from the BiH Broder Police when 11 of them fell into the pit.

Considering that everyone had injuries on their body and that there were a large number of injured people, the emergency medical services and the International Organization for Migration (IOM) team came to help and transported them to the hospital for medical treatment, it is said in a statement.
