SARAJEVO, May 8 (FENA) - Speaker of the House of Peoples of the BiH Parliamentary Assembly (BiH PA) Dragan Čović sent a letter to Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenković on the occasion of the successful conclusion of the meeting of EU and Western Balkans leaders in Zagreb.
As the Speaker of the House of Peoples of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH, on behalf of all the peoples of Bosnia and Herzegovina, I would like to express my sincere gratitude for your selfless commitment and strong contribution to the European integration process of BiH as the Prime Minister of the country holding the Presidency of the Council of the European Union at the meeting of the leaders of the European Union and the Western Balkans.
Your immeasurable merits in submitting BiH's application for membership in the European Union have significantly helped BiH's step towards membership in a large European family. Today, your support for obtaining the candidate status of BiH is significant, for which I express my great gratitude. I am convinced that BiH can catch up with what it missed in the previous period and thus successfully continue on the path to full membership in the European Union, said Čović in the letter.
