Zvizdić: BiH has always been part of the European family

FENA Press release

SARAJEVO, May 8 (FENA) - Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina Denis Zvizdić extended congratulations to the citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina on the occasion of May 9 - Victory Day over Fascism and Europe Day.

At a time when we are celebrating the Day of Victory over Fascism and the 70th anniversary of the Schuman Declaration that traced the project of cooperation between European states and preserving universal values of human rights and freedoms, the fight against fascism and other totalitarianisms must be even stronger.

On this day when peace and unity in Europe is celebrated, we in BiH proudly point out that EU membership is our most important foreign policy priority that has no alternative, especially due to the fact that the EU is the guarantor of peace and economic prosperity. Only together, united in the European family, can we move towards that goal easier and faster and resist all attempts to eradicate our anti-fascist legacy.

My dear fellow Bosnians and Herzegovinians, I wish you a happy Victory Day over Fascism and Europe Day with the message that we in Bosnia and Herzegovina have always been part of the European family, wrote Zvizdić in his congratulations.

BiH has been, is and will be a multiethnic, civil, anti-fascist, democratic and European state. That is our obligation and our goal , it is stated in Zvizdić's greeting card, PR Office of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH announced.
