SARAJEVO, May 8 (FENA) - Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BiH Zoran Tegeltija extended congratulations on the occasion of May 9, Victory over Fascism Day and Europe Day.
"On the occasion of May 9, the Day of Victory over Fascism and Europe Day, on behalf of the Council of Ministers and myself, I congratulate all citizens on this great holiday.
May 9 is the day when we remember with great reverence the heroes of the anti-fascist struggle who gave their lives for the freedom of all of us. Their exploits have enabled later generations to build their future on the true values of freedom, equality and tolerance.
The victims of the anti-fascist struggle must never be forgotten, and the affirmation and nurturing of the anti-fascist values of freedom and humanity must be permanent!," wrote Tegeltija in his congratulations.
The idea of a united Europe was created on the foundations of the anti-fascist victory on May 9, and that is why that date is of special importance to us. Bosnia and Herzegovina is part of the European cultural and historical heritage and our future lies in the community of European countries.
My fellow citizens, I once again congratulate you May 9, the Day of Victory over Fascism and the Europe Day, wrote in the congratulatory letter Chairman Tegeltija.
