Two Italian military doctors will be engaged in Bosnia and Herzegovina

FENA Press release

SARAJEVO, May 6 (FENA) - Italian Ambassador to BiH Nicola Minasi and BiH Minister of Civil Affairs, Ankica Gudeljević, met today with two Italian military doctors at the Sarajevo International Airport who, during the most difficult days for Italy, assisted people of their country.

In the days that follow, these doctors will be available to health institutions across Bosnia and Herzegovina to help them prevent the spread of coronavirus, as well as treating those infected, the BiH Ministry of Civil Affairs stated.

By the end of this month, the BiH Ministry of Civil Affairs will also organize a video conference with doctors from Italy in order to facilitate their further work in the fight against the coronavirus.

This visit of Italian doctors is only a continuation of the extremely successful cooperation between the Italian Embassy in BiH and the Ministry of Civil Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina, it is said in a statement.
