SARAJEVO, May 6 (FENA) - Representatives of the BiH bloc today filed a motion in the House of Representatives of the BiH Parliamentary Assembly to initiate a vote on the need for the recomposition of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina by voting for the dismissal of Minister of Foreign Trade and Economic Affairs, Staša Kosšrac.
The request was also signed by members of the Independent Bloc, PDP, SDS, Our Party said.
The reason for this request lies in Košarac's presence at a celebration at a restaurant in Sarajevo, with a large group of people, by which he has directly violated the measures prescribed to combat the coronavirus pandemic.
It is added that Minister Košarac, with his behavior, demonstrated disrespect for the laws and has directly endangered the health of the citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The statement reads that Košarac sent a message to citizens "that there is an untouchable political elite in BiH that is not subject to laws or within the reach of the judiciary, thus damaging both the reputation of the institution it governs and the reputation of the country as a whole."
"The response of the Parliamentary Assembly to such behavior must be the dismissal of Minister Košarac. The purpose of his removal from duty is not just a punishment for the minister. It must be a warning to all other people in positions of power, above all, to us, citizens' representatives. The dismissal of MinisterKošarac must also be an important step towards restoring citizens' confidence in the institutions of the system.
