BANJA LUKA, May 5 (FENA) - The ban on movement in Republika Srpska will be in force from tomorrow at 15.00 p.m. until May 7 at 05.00 a.m., and the obligation to wear gloves on public places will be abolished, entity Prime Minister Radovan Višković confirmed today.
This extended curfew is being introduced due to the Patron Saint Day of Djurdjevdan, which is tomorrow.
As of May 7, a new curfew will be in force in the RS, now shifting from 8p.m. to 10p.m. and will last until 5 a.m.
“Until the expert teams say otherwise, the curfew will remain in force during this time,” Višković confirmed at a press conference, noting that the liberalization of measures followed the views of competent experts.
He announced that the obligation to wear gloves on public places would be lifted as of tomorrow, but the obligation to wear protective masks remains.
After a session of the entity Emergency Crisis Staff, Višković said that people over 65 would be allowed to move from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. all days.
The Entity Prime Minister said that on May 11, all hair and beauty salons, driving schools, restaurants, cafes, private dental clinics, public transportation on city and entity lines, outdoor gyms, preschool institutions will be allowed to operate.
“Hotels, hostels, cinemas, theaters, children's playrooms, schools cannot start their activities yet,” said Višković.
A decision was made to distribute 18 ventilators for all hospitals in BiH, and Students' Home in Doboj will be put into operation for people positive for coronavirus, but who have no significant health problems.
