SARAJEVO, April 23 (FENA) - The Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina today at a session outlined its amendments to the Bill on mitigation of negative economic consequences of coronavirus pandemic.
One of these amendments, with a view of strengthening financial discipline, proposes a reduction from 90 to 60 days after the end of the state of emergency, a period during which no default interest on public revenues would be charged.
An amendment has also been proposed whereby the FBiH Development Bank is obliged to report quarterly to the Government of the FBiH on the management of the Loan Guarantee Fund, and the government will submit that report to the FBiH Parliament within 15 days of the end of the quarter. In this way, transparency of the use of the funds is ensured.
The government rejected a number of amendments proposed by MPs and caucuses in the FBiH Parliament's House of Representatives on the Bill on mitigation of negative economic consequences, stated the FBiH Government.
