Ramić: We'll help returnees in Bijeljina region with spring and fall sowing

FENA Press release

SARAJEVO, 15. April (FENA) - The FBiH Minister for Displaced Persons and Refugees Edin Ramić visited Janja, Bijeljina and Ugljevik today to provide assistance in the form of food and hygiene packages to families from vulnerable categories.

On this occasion, Ramić and the Mayor of Ugljevik, Vasilije Perić, visited the family of Adnan Muminović in Janjari, which successfully breeds calves and dairy cows.

"The COVID-19 pandemic additionally obliges us to be with those in need at this time. The region of Semberija is known for its large agricultural holdings, it makes me happy to see estates with cultivated land, which will make life easier in other parts of our homeland.

We will help spring and fall sowing so that returnees in this area can make a living off their own land. We have seen successful farmers raising livestock, our support is needed to minimize the crisis caused by COVID-19," said Ramić.
