SARAJEVO, April 10 (FENA) – Member of Crisis Staff of the FBiH Ministry of Health and Assistant Minister for Public Health Goran Čerkez said 4.991 people have been tested so far in the Federation of BiH , 502 of which are coronavirus positive.

“Compared to yesterday, we have 27 new confirmed cases out of 530 people tested,” said Čerkez.

He stressed that there are currently 75 patients hospitalized in the FBiH, seven of them are on ventilators.

He also noted that 27 people have recovered from coronavirus, and that they expect ten more to recover in the coming days.

However, Čerkez stressed that the situation is of very high concern due to the failure to comply with the adopted measures, and said that they made a recommendation to reduce movement for the weekend.

“We are sorry for those who respect the measures, but because of irresponsible individuals who violate a number of provisions, we are in a situation to adopt even more restrictive measures. We have holidays ahead, but there will be time to celebrate. This disease has hit the whole world, and so has BiH, but we have to adhere to the measures,” Čerkez concluded.
