SARAJEVO, April 9 (FENA) - IMF funding allocation rules have been in force for 22 years. They have never been changed. I do not see any reason why we should change them now, said Prime Minister of the Federation of BiH, Fadil Novalić.
He points out that it is an issue between the Republika Srpska and the Federation of BiH.
“But after 22 years we would now introduce cantons for the first time. So instead of 7 signatures on the Letter of Intent there would be 17. And that would be some very complex principle of alignment. We do not want to introduce this principle. As for us, as Prime Minister of the Federation I signed the Letter of Intent, we have adopted it and it is up to HDZ to sign it or not to sign it. If they do not sign, we will not receive IMF credit,” Novalić said.
