SARAJEVO, April 7 (FENA) - Speaker of the House of Representatives of the Parliament of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Mirsad Zaimović, said that the only item on the agenda today would be to amend the Rules of Procedure, which would allow parliamentarians to continue their work electronically.

“We can schedule a session to consider the Bill on Mitigation of the Negative Economic Consequences Caused by the Coronavirus Pandemic for Thursday, which came to parliamentary procedure, as well as the budget rebalance,” Zaimović told reporters before the session of that House.

He stressed that amendments to the Rules of Procedure will not help employers or employees, but only serve to enable the FBiH Parliament to process the necessary laws and regulations submitted by the FBiH Government more quickly.

“The FBiH Parliament was not, at any moment, an obstacle for any regulation. We are the first parliament to make such changes and the first to work more efficiently and adapt to new conditions,” Zaimović emphasized.

He noted that the Collegium of the Party of Democratic Action (SDA) of that House was in session yesterday, and that they had reached a decision to launch an initiative to reduce salaries for officials. He believes that this amount is not large to help the economy, but it is symbolic.
