Čerkez: Do not go outside next week until noon for the sake of our pensioners

FENA Vanja Tolj

SARAJEVO, April 3 (FENA) - We have decided to allow persons over 65 years of age to move freely outside so that they can collect their pensions next week. On this occasion, I would like to urge our fellow citizens to comply with personal protection measures and not to stay outside for the next five days in the period from 8.00 to 12.00 hrs., when the pensioners would be running their errands," said a member of the Crisis Staff of the FBiH Ministry of Health, Goran Čerkez at today's press conference of FiH institutions.

He asked all citizens to avoid going out and moving about as much as possible during this period, especially in places where pensions are being collected, primarily post offices, also other offices and shops.

He stressed that the measures adopted have yielded certain results so far and that it is still essential that citizens adhere to personal protection measures, especially when senior citizens are allowed to go outside.

Čerkez added that until 16.00 hrs. today, 41 people tested positive for Covid-19, and that all changes can be viewed on the platform www.covid-19.ba.
