SARAJEVO, April 2 (FENA) - Minister of Civil Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Ankica Gudeljević and Ambassador of the People's Republic of China to Bosnia and Herzegovina Ji Ping signed a Memorandum of Understanding on health and medical science cooperation today in Sarajevo between the National Health Commission of the People's Republic of China and the Ministry of Civil Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The memorandum was signed with the aim of enhancing cooperation between the two countries in the field of health and medical science. This will contribute to improving bilateral relations between the two countries and the health of their peoples, the BiH Ministry of Civil Affairs said.
The signatory parties will encourage cooperation in the fields of health and medical science on the principle of equality, reciprocity and mutual benefit.
Bearing in mind the moment when this memorandum was signed, it should be emphasized the importance it has for BiH.
Minister Ankica Gudeljević especially thanked the Ambassador of the People's Republic of China for recognizing the moment and supporting the initiative to sign the Memorandum at the time of the COVID-19 pandemic and expressed an expectation that the health authorities of Bosnia and Herzegovina and all its population would greatly benefit from this Memorandum.
