SARAJEVO, April 1 (FENA) - German Minister of State for Europe, Michael Roth after an online meeting with Bosnia and Herzegovina's Foreign Minister Bisera Turković today sent support to Bosnia and Herzegovina, saying that his country will not forget BiH, even in the time of the coronavirus pandemic us which has affected everyone.
He called for everyone working together, which is crucial, not only within the borders of the European Union but also to help partners in the Western Balkans and to send a clear signal of support and solidarity.
He expressed satisfaction that the political parties work together in response to the pandemic and thus show that there are central issues where unity and teamwork are important, especially since this is not in itself understandable in BiH.
"Take responsibility for the country, and transfer this unity that you show today into everyday political life in BiH. In any living democracy, disagreements are normal, but when it comes to important social issues, a political agreement is needed," Roth emphasized.
Foreign Minister of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bisera Turković reminded that everyone is concerned in the fight against the coronavirus pandemic, adding that the competent institutions and coordination bodies at the state level have acted with concrete measures and the results have been very good.
