Džaferović - Yassin: Malaysia will continue to help BiH

SARAJEVO, April 1 (FENA) - BiH Presidency Chairman Šefik Džaferović spoke on the phone today with Malaysian Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin and discussed situation regarding coronavirus pandemic.

They exchanged information on the situation with the number of infected persons and the measures being taken in Bosnia and Herzegovina and Malaysia.

The friendly relations between the two countries have been reaffirmed today, as evidenced by the aid Malaysia will send to Bosnia and Herzegovina in the coming days.

Prime Minister Yassin announced that Malaysia, which also faces problems caused by the pandemic, would continue to assist Bosnia and Herzegovina in the coming period.

He invited Džaferović to visit Malaysia immediately after the pandemic ends, in order to further enhance bilateral relations and economic cooperation between the two countries.

Džaferović emphasized sincere and friendly relations between the two countries and thanked Yassin for the support Malaysia is constantly providing to Bosnia and Herzegovina, especially at this time when almost the entire world is facing problems caused by the coronavirus pandemic, the BiH Presidency stated.
